Two Doves

Two Doves

A Poem by Joyrider
"

two different people finds similarities in each other and love sprouts

"
two different doves two different worlds
crossed the seas in search of food
crossed each other in unreal world
two different hearts came off good
he saw a face below the willow tree
and found grace in approximate degree
he started thinking about thinking
flapping wings in a new direction
so a sapling sprouted in trees shadow
nature nurtured them in the meadow
can i perch upon your empty hollow
asked the one to the other in willow
together they gazed upon starry night
touched the beaks in the moon glow
towards new skies made their flight
every synced flap made them grow

Love it! Two people meet, find a connection and love grows. The references to nature make the poem universal and the last line is very clever 'every synced flap made them grow'
