First heartbreak seems like this..

What Hurts The Most

 

It was a dream…

A dream to be with someone

Whom my heart longed for

I watched him

Every day, Every moment,

It was beautiful…

So so beautiful…

 

His smile changed my smile

His eyes changed my eyes

My feelings pouring out

My heart beating so loud

 

My magical dream

It came true…

But that’s not how the story ends…

Do you know why?

 

Because this is reality!

It’s harsh and cruel…

He got some one better, so he says

But what he doesn’t know

That its my heart that aches.

 

Once that smiled with his

Now aches to see him smiling with her

But I still smile

A sad smile …

I smile to show

It doesn’t matter

But what hurts the most

Is that he doesn’t care.

 

If someone could…

All I would ask for

Would be to remove him

From my heart

And forget that magical dream

I once saw

Naive and innocent,

Because I know

I wished for something,

That hurts the most

This poem is something I wrote when one of my friends had her heartbreak. She wouldn't talk about it openly... and so, I thought maybe reading this would make it easier for her to vent out her feelings..
