Aurora Borealis

Aurora Borealis

A Poem by Augustus
"

An attempt at a form called the "Cinquain"...It consists of five lines. The number of syllables is 2-4-6-8-2.

"
Behold!
The light doth sway
As fragrant flowers bright
Moon's bitter envy; of the Night
Sun-ray!

That was well done. The only poem that I've written about the Arurora Borealis was my poem "Mary Alice" It has another kind of structure:

Ah, I have heard of cinquain! It's wonderful that you can transcend the form to make such a powerful piece that feels so free. Excellent, vibrant imagery and feel!
