Euphoric Insanity

Euphoric Insanity

A Poem by Connor

flowing waves of electricity
the surge fills nerves and capillary
a burst free from monotone captivity
fluorescent crescents glow steadily
stars glow across the sidewalks
technicolor bricks covered in chalk
tidal bursts fill my lungs steadily
static waves induce euphoric insanity
humming along to distorted sound waves
taking it in like heroin in waves
color flows out the center with glowing orbs
moving like rockets from shore to shore
lazy banners dance in the surges
rocking back and forth to sonic urges
in the structure that breeds chaos
someday we all become free, and truly lost
