Stop !

Its a short poem with an 'abab' rhyming scheme majorly. it talking about the sentimental perspective of looking at the world and the happening inside. its a search for inner peace of the soul.

Just have a look at the world around you �"

a blind rat-race all over it seems, 

Everyone’s running for “something”,

Students for grades and graduations, 

employees for perks-pelf ’s and promotions. 

Business men for ‘profit’ cycles 

and singers to grab the ‘idol’ titles. 

Actors for awards, 

And politicians for power, preaching the name of god. 

Terrorists’ for so-called “holy peace”, 

living with the mask on, is the new diseases. 

Everyone’s running after immortality, 

away from the roots of eternal humanity.

STOP, though change is the only constant,

Arise for a better tomorrow. 

Life means moving on, 

but at time intervals with past dead and gone. 

STOP, observe and experience,

you will find peace within yourself,

A sound adherence !
