The Raven's Night

The Raven's Night

A Poem by Sidonna

Its just a whisper in the breeze
A faint breath upon the leaves
Cosmic tale of two hearts scorn
Love lost too soon to even mourn
Desired me for all the wrong reasons
A test of time through the seasons
Take comfort in the raven's night
Cry out while the foul takes flight
Create pleasure from the kindred pain
Mend the scars that I obtained
Miles away from the crooked reality
Stuck at the Crossroads of eternity
I hear the call with a wretched might
As I take comfort in the raven's night

The usage of the rhyme scheme here...I wonder if you take the road less traveled with this verse...and give this another try without the rhyme...where this would go...or you could just leave as is...and be done with it...
