Selene

Selene

A Poem by Orlando Murcia

Selene...

There is nothing stopping me from touching you,

except maybe the thorn bushes of a million centuries

and jagged stones that scream out never

I sleep with clouds between my arms

while harps make silent music to my ears

I climb the steepest hill every night...

...just so I can reach the selas of your smile

One day I will let myself drown...

... adentro de el mar

Just so my soul can soar pass the spectacle of your beauty

Because the chances of me ever being able

to lay hold of you..

...would be like your name

It's Greek mythology
