You say I'm strong for never crying
Truth is, my tears are falling all the time
Not that you would understand
Because your tears are different then mine

Yours are clear in colour and fall from your eyes
Mine are black and drip on every line I write
Streaming like a rushing river
In the dark of an endless night

You think everything is fine
But my problems keep piling up
Don't be offended if I push you away
For trying to pour your love into a broken cup

When I say "Leave me alone" I mean it
Don't give me your sympathy, I don't need it
I'm just trying to live this life right
And trying to find the puzzle pieces that fit

Just lean back and relax
Listen to the words I'm saying
If you feel me and the message that I'm bringing
Then let these black tears keep on raining
