a poem thanking the family and friends of Charles "Mask" Lewis Jr. I still can't B3LI3V3 it!

“Inspiration (I Thank-You)”

 

To pay respects the world was overdue, I gave a small voice to what everyone was thinking never once did I ever fathom it would reach the hearts of those most devastated! Those suffering the loss of a

Brother,

A cousin,

A loved one passing

but now through a teen’s remembering,

His name and spirit are now resurrecting!

You have said I am

Inspirational, gifted, blessed,

That I am aware and worthy of the most highest of praise,

That I am able to see the man behind the

“Mask”

That I am the one keeping

His

Memory alive,

Words cannot ever commence what this means to me, an 18 year old Canadian, but I must not lead you into false pretences, as to say that any of this comes without unsung help and unannounced assistance...yes it is I who truly and wholeheartedly and in all fairness and reality should be thanking you, for you have exceeded even the most wildest dreams and have forced all reasonable expectations to

‘TapouT’

 

So with that allow me now, to bow out singing your praise and thanks,

Your kindness and gratitude was unforeseen and unnecessary,

My gratitude runs deep, forever internally indebted I shall forever be held, but know this the family and friends of

Charles D. “Mask” Lewis

You are my sole inspiration!
