Sky Blush

Sky Blush

A Poem by Justin Tobey
"

A few moments that came together into a short poem.

"
The green-blue blush of the western horizon is all that remains
Of the extinguished sun's glory.
In keeping faithful
Past the initial burst of light,
We see in the hazy remnant of dusk an aurora
Of ghostly figures dancing:
Celestial performers whose scenes transcend our perception
Of time,
And push distances flat
And infinite
Across the radiant screen of the heavens.

I would be such a dancer.
