Another Day in Paradise

poem for a contest atm, it just sounded like too much fun though.

Zero days, zero hours, zero minutes, but I think 4 or 5 seconds at least.

Yes my friends, I am counting time;

X amount of time to be precise, though I do not know how much it is.

 

Why, may you ask, am I counting?

Very well, shall I tell you?

Under these circumstances I might as well, since I've nothing better to do.

 

Two days ago I came home broad.

(Sorry, I mean bored, not broad, how silly of me)

Really bored though, so bored I thought my head would implode!

(quietly implode, nothing interesting of course)

 

Plus not only was I bored, I had math homework too.

Only I could be this unlucky, homework and bored-ness.

(Maybe bored-ness doesn't fit here, but shush, it's my story)

Now, I could easily have done my homework,

like I should have done in the first place because it would have helped me to

kill time until I found something fun.

 

Just when I almost, and I mean almost, decided to do the work,

I had the strangest idea!

 

Have you ever seen a giant cookie?

Giant cookie, ginormous cookie, one too big to eat!

Fear not, I know I can't bake... at least not well,

even though the cake only was half on fire...

Decidedly though, I wanted to watch one bake.

Can't I, after all? So I ran to a great place, a

bakery! A great bakery too, it makes awesome cakes, though they won't let me bake again.

And so now I am still sitting here, counting the non-existant time for a non-existant cookie.
