FaeA Poem by Sorcha~unable To Stay On Long Lately, Sorry!!!!for a contest :D quick write, not the greatest but not the worst, yay for average lol
The whispered wind of Fae doth blow
Amongst thine leaves with golden glow T'is words adrift on yonder breeze That follow amongst thine earthly ease Yet pixie dust and faery wing Art seen of yet and yet unseen Waters ripple, kelpie's sing T'is where the Fae have long since been The Seely court t'is faire and true A golden light amongst us who Wouldst shade our eyes from Fae divine The Seely wouldst control what's thine Unseely Fae know treachery Whom prank an unsuspecting thee Benevolence? T'is not their game Nae, dark and shadowed, they mar and maim Together lost to time untold The fae are gone to wilt, so old As Magic leaves the world grown bare We lost the Fae, both dark and faire © 2012 Sorcha~unable To Stay On Long Lately, Sorry!!!!Featured Review
