The Color of a Rose

This is a poem that I wrote with my sister (screen name: Turquoise). She's four years younger than me! ^^

 

A red rose is the color of fire that burns bright in the night

A blue rose is the color of ice on the coldest days of winter

A green rose is the color of nature, everywhere to be seen

A pink rose is the color of a true happy heart

A yellow rose is the color of the sun that gives life to the earth

An orange rose is the color of a beautiful sunset that ends the day
