Eyelash Wishes

Eyelash Wishes

A Poem by William
"

and i just hope you know, that if you say good-bye today, i'd ask you to be true. 'cause the hardest part of this is leaving you.

"

i wish i didn’t know; i wish for the bliss ignorance gives.

i wish that i couldn’t see it coming, like a car crash.

i wish that there were a thousand less tears;

i wish we had a hundred more years.

i wish that life was kinder,

the years longer,

love blinder.

i wish.

I'm wondering why you say it's horrible.

I like the visual impact of this piece. I like the simplicity of it, and the way the final "i wish" wraps it all together.

Beautiful. At first i didn't see it, but later i felt the pain that you wrote this with. It is not horrible. It is beautiful. The simplicity adds to the beauty of it. I like it.
