So please, kiss the girl
sweep her off
her feet

Elate her
Erase all the gray

Like a distant shimmering ray

Make her heart

I really love it! A completely different look on first kisses, the desperation and need of the girl to be kissed. You express it beautifully!

I like it....simple, & to the point. & this has nothing to do with much of anything but when reading this and seeing the line "kiss the girl" over and over again I thought of the little mermaid and the song when they were in the boat and she was trying to get eric to kiss her. but again, nice poem.

this.was.BEAUTIFUL. i couldn't stop reading, because it was so intoxicating!! You have such a talent for this sort of writing! i was left breathless and amazed. This one line caught my attention:
