really just something I felt like I needed to write and hopefully people will be able to relate.

one day we're standing
The next were too weak to stand
One second were smiling
The next we look over at the marks near our hands
And
I notice that we have gotten too comfortable with the thought that this comes with age
That feelings like this about boys and being broken is okay
We've become accustomed to sleeping on damp pillows and hiding sleepless eyes with concealer
When did we forget that the one person who should feel better should not be the one who feels her
when will we break the chain and know again
that things like this
and broken hearts, thoughts we reminisce
Don't always have to be bad ones
Putting burdens on our shoulders to carry is unacceptable because we're more than that
We go through so much I can only hardly fathom
You're more than your past, that's a f*****g fact.
