Parallel gardens

Parallel gardens

A Poem by slfisher89

"Do as I say not as I do"
a common expression; which goes against nature. Intimation of others
How we learn. I ask of you to ignore nature: focus on nurture.
Split yourself
Nurture sow seeds
Spring into observation, perception,
A sense of self
But remember the split--nature--intimation
Not shown outwardly because of nurture:
Its internalize. Sow seeds of reaction, response
So be wary of "do as I say not as I do"
For the heart and brain will forever clash
