Shadow Watching

Shadow Watching

A Poem by Jordan A. Wilson

shadow watching.
all the time.
calms nerves.
eases mind.

paranoia?
not, i think.
watch them close.
don't you blink.

perceptive prowess?
you are correct.
those with the gift
are few and select.

ignorance and bliss.
one in the same.
is it me
or the shadows to blame?

anticipation.
racing thoughts.
waiting for doom?
or waiting for nought?

shadow watching.
all the time.
wish to cease
this bitter rhyme.

oh you're cool. really! I underestimated your online personality. :)
I believe in shadows. Most folks don't desire to see them. I like the story and the purpose of this poem. A very good ending to the excellent poetry.
