Perfume smelling splendid

Hangs a lingering presence

In the air as she turns away,

Leaving my world in oblivion.

Purer than crystal glass,

Her eyes shine brighter

Than the sky.

Serene.

Two pools of amber

Trap me in merciful manner.

I like that the amber pools trap you in a manner. How is trapping merciful though?


Don't pick the right number of syllables that sounds like it fits in the right word and right spot. Pick the right word for its meaning, not because it seems like the right thing to say, ya know? Howya been? Haven't signed in a while.
