Aurora

Aurora

A Poem by Jordan A. Wilson

Hard is the day in which I yearn to escape.
Into my humble abode I retreat, only to find her waiting where I left her.

Her arctic white skin glistens like snow beneath an intense December sun.

As I anxiously approach, my intentions become painfully obvious.

On an impUlse I reach out and gently grasp her smooth, curvaceous body.

Cool to the touch, heR chilled skin sends shivers through my entire being.

After this rush of emotion I proceed with my endeavor.

TOgether, the two of us make beautiful music.

My left hand is finding all the Right notes.

My right keeps the cAdence alive.

Subtle gestures like a sly bend or tender vibrato titillate the senses,

causing her to cry out ever so passionately.

Oh, how I love my Fender guitar.
