The Ocean's Calling

The waves slowly thump against the sand

I stand at the edge

And watch the different shades of blue 

mix together into the ocean

I stand at the edge

And see the water reflect the sky itself

I stand at the edge

And feel the water pool at my feet

and hear the waves sing

I stand at the edge

And I hear the ocean calling
