Just a poem..

THIS POEM

             IT IS FOR HIM…

Its for him..

Who detected my tenderness

Told me that I can love a male

And then turned away from me

 

Its for him

Who taught me the lesson

That sex sans love is impossible

And turned away from me

Denying me both

 

Its for him

Who accepted his passion for me

But never yielded to it

As he is committed

To his wife by church

 

Its for him

Who keeps on turning away..

From my calls and invitations

Fanning the fire inside me every time

To be with him, to be in him

 

He hurls me into a whirlpool of

Unfulfilled yearnings..

Crying aloud in agony

I keep on repeating

I love you…I love you

My darling…

Never leave me…

 

He pretends that he never heard it

I pretend that I never knew his pretension

Both of us knew we can not prevent

This surging waves of passion

For each other….!!!

 

Pretension saves us from floundering.

Saves both of us from breaking limits

 

Universal is love..

Knows not any limits..

Nor do the limits know it…

It transcends stupid limits..

It follows its own course…

Both of us knew this religion too, well.
