Bluster

Bluster

A Poem by Cupcaker Baker Maker
"

A poem (basically) about wind for a contest.

"

Howling chilling desperate waves

Crossing through the darkened woods

Chilling, chilling, freezing all

A cry from up north (or south or west)

       Knocks me from my perch

His name was once a joke to me

I blustered about in jest

"Cooler than Ithaqua" I called her

And now she is in his grasp

Knowing how it hurts to birth the wind.

The howling chills and haunts

Descending from the North

The North is all I hear for now

What a terror the wind can blow!
