The Wash.

The Wash.

A Chapter by Solst Rapture
"

A good bye to someone I hoped would become a friend.

"

If I could pray for you, I would.
It's clear to me what is at stake
and I sincerely hope your time
on this earth
is not too painful.

It is your choice
and it has been noted
in many
Spiritual vaults
the ways in which you
destroy hope.

Sitting on my chair,
with my back facing the window
overlooking the gravel covered garden,
a ginger Cat, the feline variety, pauses
on his route afar and looks into my eyes.

A fly momentarily fills
dissipating gloom with a buzz,
the washing machine rotates the drum,
the dishes in the sink go rattle, clatter and tang from
the hands of another human.

No commentary follows me around,
driving me into the ground
that has a voice
as if it belongs
to someone else.

May love always be in your heart

Our Friendship has been terminated,

but I feared it failed to really start.

I bless you

and long for you

to not feel any type

of illregard toward Life.

I am more than you even noticed.

Maybe you were too.

This poem was great...the well wishes for the lost, the selflessness and determination for life...absolutely gorgeous

Oh, Matt. . . I fear it never started. Neither good nor bad. No fault. No injury. Live a blessed life. I think this must be an evolved philosophy toward life.

An introspective write couched in poetic prose but carrying a clear message tinged with regrets for what might have been
