It's not that simple.

When one is harshly criticized for no reason at all.

It’s not that simple

It’s not that simple;

To be light and easy;

To let completely go of,

What other people think of you.

 

It’s not that simple,

To like and not be liked;

And yet to appear,

As if, none of it bothers you.

 

It’s not that simple,

To go on helping;

Even when, at the back of your mind,

You know, that they will never help you.

 

It’s not that simple,

To try and change wrong things;

And then, be harshly criticized,

For doing that too.

 

None of it is ever simple,

But neither impossible too.

For lots of pain, loads of work,

Could make the world much happier.

Its not that simple to give ourselves to those that we feel dont deserve things because we as a people often take one another for granted it surely is not that simple if only arrogancy of the heart could leave the troubled 1s and pride were laid down and ego set aside oh how much more peaceful it would be to reach and connect with others deeply in a way on a level that not 1 can describe and explain in just a few words

Of course nothing is simple in this hostile world, where even if you set off to do a good deed, it turns bad making u sad and letting people criticize u, when you try do keep something simple, it turns complicated just beyond imaginations. But life is as such, we have to go through such situations to enter into a better place, a better world...
Serious poems are often filled with great philosophies, keep writing!!!
