to that horrible drink

laughing brown eyes

on the pavement sink

one mans decision

stole your breath

countless hearts broken

It was a rather traumatic incident, I can tell. Were both killed in the accident? Also, excellent write.

no... that drunk didn't die, he is alive today and i believe by now he knows what he's done.

Ah. For him, living with his actions is a punishment more torturous that just having died in the accident. In his situation, living is more or less a curse over a blessing.
