Longing

...in the eyes of a child as he craves for a better world...

How I long to see the blue whales and dugongs 

splashing against the sapphire waves

To feel the fresh breeze of air dancing around me

I long to hear the humble birds singing on the trees

To utter the melodies I bear to hide inside me

I long to witness a pride growling in the jungle

To be a part of its majestic kingdom

I long to touch polar bears and penguins someday up there

To work the magic of my love for such

I long to swim in crystal clear waters of the sea

And feel safe as dolphins caress me

I long to taste the sweetness of every fruits

And have the flowers color the paleness of the world

I long to wish upon a star

That all my dreams fly in harmony

To see the sky that is as blue as ever

The grasses as green as eternity

The dawn as beautiful

...and the sunrise smiling forever...
