Not Exactly 'Cheating'

The pain that I felt when you were forgetting me

Is nothing compared to now

You're hanging onto me and I want someone else

I want you to tell me how

To deal with all the guilt of this

Knowing that I'm leading you on

Tell me how I'm supposed to be with you for now

Until he wants me then I'm done?

You say that you understand the situation
That having fun is all we need to do

But how can I stay with you and tell you that I love you

When I'm also talking to him too?

It hurts you when I talk about him

Yeah, I can see it in your eyes

I know that if we keep this up you won't ever be over me

And it'll kill you when he becomes mine

I'm sorry for all that I've done to you

I feel really bad, that's why I've stayed

But now it's like adding salt to your wound

The wound, of course, that I have made

For now I'll lay here with you 

And hold you till you fall asleep

Then I'll sneak out to be with him

With a goodbye kiss upon your cheek

Great poem i especially liked this stanza:

The true confession of a cheat.
Well told, good construction.
Suggest that you just terminate relationship
with the "ex". He will recover a lot faster if
you are honest with him. He must be made to
realize the world is full of women. There is someone
who will love him, be faithful to him and make his
life complete. The sooner you are honest with
him the sooner he will recover and live.
