Russian Roulette

Russian Roulette

A Poem by spence
"

All or nothing, death or glory. I will take my life back or I will die trying!

"

I wrote my goodbye note today
I don’t think that this thing can go on

I cried like a helpless child
To think how hard I’ve tried
And those I’ll leave behind me
Once I’m gone

I lingered long in pain
Without a single gain
Until I dried my eyes, looked outside
Unpacked baggage I won’t be taking

I don’t want it anymore

I want to leave the mess behind me
It will only turn my mind from where I’m going
And too much time’s been wasted
In anger and hurting

There can be no change of heart
When its chambers are filled to bursting
And now that I can’t take any more
I shall walk free from this revolving door

I will not fear cold explosion
Nor hot exposure any more

No more energy will I generate
For others to wantonly waste
My words and wants were taken away
Until the steal in my mouth
Was all that I could taste

No longer will I bend over the barrel
While I’m violently, silently raped
Paying for others mistakes
While the culprits outside my cave stand in wait

And spin the barrel again

I was having an extremely bad day when I wrote this introspective and metaphorical piece! Probably a better idea than suicide! (probably)

This is the pinnacle and sometimes we have to point that note! Excellent voice here love, I hope it was cathartic lol
Brilliantly used metaphor too, wow!
