My Last Chapter:

My Last Chapter:

A Poem by Alexandra
"

This will be the last poem I'm writing on this page. I hope everyone understands that this needs to be laid to rest, finally.

"
(I have waited nearly 10 hours to write this piece, I drove to NY on this running high to get these words to paper. If I could tell you how much the social intertia-a concept you never understood-came about at the local bar in Elizabeth, NJ)

When you found me in the middle of the road with her
The world took spins as I saw you in my first car at 15
You walked like the world had no weight
20 year old you would've been so proud
You really outdid yourself and it seems like the person you were missing
Was her all along
August midnight calls by your ex-girlfriend was a sign from God

---------------

You looked beautiful tonight
Small braids cascading your beautiful frame
Tight dress to fit those thighs
The world is your oyster
To think me and you used to live, eat and breathe together
You came to my life to show me what it's like to give happiness to others
Now I know you really do follow what's right:
Following the likes of others

--------------

Makeup does look good on you
So does she
Tell me with those brown eyes
Do you know where my eyes on were
You.
But, you have let me down.
If there was one thing I needed you to remember was when you said:
"I will never be like that a*****e"
Congratulations, you have become the nuclei of his existence

(I am officially signing off of this page. I will no longer post my poetry anymore. Let this be a memoir of all the trauma and pain I have been through in my life. I have loved and I have lost, every single one of my friends are not the same from a year ago. The people I consider the closest, my lovers, have fallen away: forever. I only asked that they have better future and that they forever stay safe, away from harm.

A sad and vitriolic exit indeed as you let him abuse you again and leave the Cafe and stop writing for us. Sleep on it and I will tell you a tale to make you feel lucky and worthwhile and glad to see the back of a scoundral!
