Applesauce - A Limerick of Lovers' Pain

Applesauce - A Limerick of Lovers' Pain

A Poem by springy tart lemur

There hung a young apple named Paul

Who on his sweet lover would call

But she thought him soft-cored

And in time she grew bored.

In his grief, from the tree Paul did fall.

I forget the proper punctuation for limerick lines, or if there is any at all. Anyone know?
