Faint Whispers

Faint Whispers

A Poem by Gladys
"

to the trees

"

Bare bones in winter,

What do we hinder,

A world without shimmer?

You run for cover,

The Earth, our mother,

We no longer shelter.

Majestic, we fall,

A service to all,

Until your breaths halt.
