To the moon and back. Forever. Promise. <3

Palms sweating even though the weather is cold and dreary
Heavy breathing as though you've run a marathon
Shaking limbs as though the world is about to fall from under you
Lump in your throat filled with words yet to escape.

And escape those words did
In hushed tones as we sat starring into eachothers eyes
Beautiful hues of green and blue I starred into.
Eyes holding love, confusing, excitement, longing.

I love you
The whispered words we seemed to sing to eachother
As the world around us turned to a haze

I love you
They say to the moon and back
And to the moon and back I shall, forever.

I love you
The words trembled out from quivering lips
Causing a seemingly weightless feeling to spread through your body
Heart springing to life as its beat danced an unfamiliar rhythm

Forever and always
We whisper words of hope and beauty
Whispered words for no-one but us
I love you.
