Here's to you kid in DC

Well this is a poem about my boyfriend at the time when I knew that a breakup was going to have to happen.

 

I thought that this time

would be different.

But you were just like every

person who broke my heart.

We were so different,

but with the promise of a new

beginning I began to fall,

hard.

But of course I'm to blame

to blame for my unhappiness,

heartbreak, confusion, tears...

But in the ned all I wanna do is blame you.

The weather this morning was beautiful.

Rainy, cloudy, cold...

just like me.

Screw you and your pretty face.

I wanna break it.

Everywhere I look, I'm reminded of you.

How could I let my heart do this to me?

But that's what I get,

Maybe next time I'll know better.

Or not...
