What can I say? My son is my golden boy; he is a "first responder" and has saved 100s of lives during earthquakes, hurricanes, tsunamis.

As Good As Gold

The old Jewish ladies where I grew up

A Yiddische kup

They said

And it means a Jewish head.

A phrase of praise of the highest rank

Except for one"

As good as gold.

Hold the door for your mother

Hold her coat for her too.

Hold the hand of mankind

Soothe and bind

The wounds of the innocent

Bare your soul to your father

Keep his counsel as well

Walk face forward through hell

And when you emerge

There’s laundry to fold.

As good as gold.
