LUMOS

LUMOS

A Poem by De Sorrow
"

Did this for our school paper. I was inspired with the problems I was facing while I was trying to do this. Enjoy! :)

"
Bound by ropes and fire surround thee;
Stuck in the middle desiring to be free;
Every persecution and threat thou receives,
Brings pain and sadness and weakens thy knees.

These suff'rings thou face, destroys thy soul;
Takes away thine light which once thou owns;
Thy mind doubts which road to take:
The one with joy or the one with death?

Cries and woes thine ears perceive;
Astonished, they came from thee;
Dismay is felt as they deceive,
Breaks thine heart silently.

O how dreadful thy world is!
Full of grief and misery;
Escaping from their attack,
Defending thyself with dignity.

Why is it that thou forgets,
The Man who loves, never rejects?
Why fill thyself with anger and hate,
If thou still has strong faith?

Why blame thyself when thou should not?
Why cry so hard? I beg thee to stop;
Turn away from the call of Evil,
Remove the veil that came from the Cruel.

Have a change of heart I say to unto thee,
Remove bad thoughts and give thee peace,
Leave sadness and go to where thou is pleased,
Joy and delight thou shalt see.

I believe thou knowest who should stand:
Not the evil but the Creator of this land;
Soon shall find where thou should be,
It is in His castle where His arms surround thee.
