Lovers dream

Looking towards the lush meadows

Two young lovers with their hungry eyes

Hug each other ever so tightly

And they never ever want to let go ….

 

On the shore they walk hand in hand

Their bodies sashaying in the golden sands

They feel this is what true love is all about

And as their hearts beat as one

They have no doubts…..

 

The scents of the cool spring breeze fill their senses

And as they feel that their dreams are getting closer

They sit between the trees whilst the goldfish are singing

Listening to them and holding their secrets

They let go and share a kiss that lingers on in perpetuity 

 

Then they look lovingly towards the hypnotic skies

And as they hold their hands out in prayer

Their dreams rain upon them from heaven

Made true by God’s everlasting love

 They can only observe and say “Amen”
