Homeless

Homeless

A Poem by Sumana

Evening...
Your story reflects that of mine,
and that is how we entwine.
Sun closes his eyes and rests upon your bed
Painting your veil with crimson red,
Allowing night to take you with him.
Birds leave you alone and set for their home,
You stand still
Homeless...
until darkness
Wraps you in her arms,
Lulling you in her charms,
Placing you before the night
To engulf you with all his might.
