Tomorrow, When Yesterday Began

Tomorrow, When Yesterday Began

A Poem by December Blaize

Where the blue lights don't yet reach,
Where all lines somehow seem to meet,
That's where you'll find me waiting.

When our eyes look upon the same skyline,
When all our hearts beat steady in time,
That's when you'll find me singing.

If we can carry each other on broken wings,
If we learn to fly without letting go of dreams,
I'll be at the end of all things, beginning.

Author's Note

December Blaize
September 11, 2001. We will never forget that horrible tragedy. Though the attack killed thousands, the millions of other people in the U.S.A. came together to pick up the pieces, and that connection, that unity, should never be forgotten. We were all we had to hold on to, and I hope we never let go.
