Penguin Psyche

Penguin Psyche

A Poem by December Blaize

Penguins in her ears, penguins in her hair,
Penguins on her shelves, penguins everywhere;
She danced with a cold beauty, the frosty queen,
But loved with every single breath that she had seen.

The penguins stepped and swam between her thoughts,
They dove and danced along the lines connecting the dots;
So if you ever skate on down to Antarctica, give her this card,
Tell her "merry Christmas" from this slightly batty and frozen bard.

Author's Note

December Blaize
Penguins are my favorite animal, and I've been meaning to write something a slightly mad girl... so I combined the two.
