life is a precious thing, and you only have one shot at it. So make it count.

Human…

Being human  

Is to see through the lies

To read what can never be written

To taste the bittersweet ending

When all hope is lost

 

To face the pain of one’s past

And turn it into a future

To let what is

And what will never be

Cloud your judgment

 

To be human is

To feel the loss

Of mankind

And find the love hidden behind

 

To share secrets

And fight for what is

Truly yours

To unlock the power within your heart

For it alone decides the kind of person

You long to be

 

So when the time comes

And you must face the inevitable

Look back with no regrets

And reminisce on all

Those adventures of highs and lows

Do not stop

Until you know in your heart

The end is near

And when you march

Through those gates

Glittering in the sun

Cool breeze blowing away your worries

Hold your head up high

Proud and honoured

To be called to arms

 

For you are, and always will be

Human

A very strong poem! This poem gets very deep to the subject ' HUMAN', and i feel like knowing the meaning of human after reading it :) Also, I think we all fight for being real humans, cause today's world lots of people were dead, not a true person, just a servant of something, objects. Keep a human alive in us!

To be human is to be yourself and enjoy life experiences. that's what i get from this and home I'm right lol. I love this poem. Its something great to read especially while in a relaxing mood. this goes directly into my favorites :)
