From mind to paper

From mind to paper

A Poem by Divya Parwani
"

The struggle of penning thoughts on paper when there are too many of it.

"
'From mind to paper'

Sun sets,
So does my mood.
Mind has thoughts,
Thoughts with a turbulent flow.
Something more like a tornado,
Running from a place to the other,
Taking the rest with it.
Which makes it hard for me to choose one,
to ponder on.
My tongue feels tied,
So I keep quite,
Otherwise, I would have yelled,
in disguise.
Feeling helpless,
I try to sleep.
However,the tornado within,
Keeps me from having peace.
So, I pen it all down,
And this is how it came out.

You've done a great job of capturing what it feels to hold something inside. Something that keeps you up at night thinking and trying to figure out what to do. I find that writing does help us make sense of it all, of all the jumbled thoughts and emotions... Hope it did help you

Great piece, I'm sure many can relate.
Writing is very therapeutic, its as though the pen and paper becomes the eye of the storm.
