Songbird Eternal (for Marie)

Songbird Eternal (for Marie)

A Poem by Ada
"

A poem I wrote for my grandmother's 80th birthday.

"
Lovely little robin tweeting,
singing sweetly songs so fleeting.
On the winding branch you perch,
while wisps of wind whirl and lurch.

Your song it never sways
with the leaves or with the waves...
For to your tune they hum and drum
to greet gracefully passing days.
