Thankful for Thanksgiving Day

We so thankful for this day

The day  mama cooks in a special way

Don’t have to worry about filling up

Its enough food to stuff stuff stuff

 

An unlimited feast for us to eat

Even a table filled with sweets

My choice of meat several I see

Even a special dish just for me

 

A knock at the door time to celebrate

More food, pies and cakes

Everyone’s hear time to eat

Time to say grace and take our seats

 

Dig in and grab pull up the chairs

But first our thanks we must share

Thanking God for his amazing grace

Finally at last we can feed our face

 

Giving thanks  for this special day

To our Lord who made the way

Appreciating him for all he’s done

And for sharing with the world his begotten son
