In the Night So Long

In the Night So Long

A Poem by Ronaldo

So, tell me where,

Where, did you go?

Does the night find you,

Under a different moonlight?

Where the night falls all right.

But, darling don’t forget,

You left me alone,

And the night's so long,

So long and so cold.

But you know I'm alright,

I can be quite strong,

In these nights alone.

But darling, how long?

Must I wade these nights alone,

Without the mend of your skin

and your close touch,

To tangle myself in.

I know it's all too much,

But, can you feel it?

When you let me in.

So, just sing me a song,

When the cold wind comes on

And the night feels so long,

So long and so cold.

Then maybe, you'll feel again,

That night you let me in.
