The Healing Touch

Sorrows do hit the surface of my heart

Leaving a crater

tearing the land apart

But.... I will heal

I have the power of a healing smile

There is a fault in my design

coded to accept change as default

I cant be sad for long

I cant mourn at losses for long

I will heal...

I do mourn at losses

I do cry in pain

I do try hard to forget you

to take out the pain from my vein.

The table would turn some day

and we would get even

till then i will wait

hope in every smile

forgetting the bitter moments and pain.

This is me, Born special

born to spread the true smile

Then why waste each day on tears

for someone not meant for me.

Then why waste time in past

where we were not meant to meet.

Let me spread the smile

smile so viral

one catch it like flu 

and remain infected for ever

The whole atmosphere of being a positive influence in everyone else's lives yet remaining unsatisfied with their own is an atmosphere that is very difficult to put together, and you've penned a poem that fits gracefully into the cracks of it. You sound like a naturally optimistic person who refuses to succumb to misery and that in itself is making you feel uncomfortable, because you're unable to wallow in the misery of losing someone important to you and feeling as if your response was inadequate because society teaches us we only love someone when we are completely devastated and incapacitated when we lose them. I could describe the poem as being on the uncomfortable side of the emotional spectrum, and I must say, you've done very well with this. Glad I read this, keep it up, sushi.
