Utopia

Utopia

A Poem by Swagato Saha

It's in my castle, where I now hide, braced by the seamless serene,
Neath the smiling heavens, a blushing sun, while the mountains bow at my feet,
Tis here I lurk, flourishing my wand, stoking the flames of desire;
Raising my blade, I scare all demons, slay dragons that breathe fire.
Or saunter in circles, through green and grey, a pillow of winds in my trail,
Voids I fill, with glaring ease, in carefree nonchalance,
Eternally cloistered beyond the rusty realms of crude reality,
Radiant with the tender glow of flowers that were allowed to bloom n'grow freely,
Tis there I belong, sheltered by, the poignant melancholy...

Very interesting choice of words and how you have those details makes the poem in my opinion even more strong. I love your title for it, that's what really drew me into reading this poem because of what the word Utopia meaning is. I'm glad I did cause this is really good. I hope to see more.

I loved the ride your poem took me on. I could visualize every moment of it. Colorful words with seemless flow and warmth. I enjoyed it very much!
