A light for a love

A light for a love

A Poem by Sagar Waingankar

Things around me are turning so fast,
Don't know what's gonna last.
It sometime feels as if I'm a tree,
Beautiful things are changing around me.

People are dealing love these days,
I don't know how can they?
Please don't be one of them.
Love is a pleasant feeling we make.

Making things go round and round,
Later getting confused which one to look for?
Messing up everything bitterly,
Then cry, thinking why we did it eagerly.

Young hearts fall in love so truly,
In the same way, forget it so quickly.

Young babies are together initially,
Fighting and loving each other merrily,
For few stupid reasons break up finally,
Then start complaining, we are feeling lonely.

Fact is we all have love in our heart,
And it's never meant to be set apart.
Be a part of spreading love, as most of us do,
There will always be a ray of light for each of you.

Your words strong and the desire of hope and love are in your words.

Easy to mess up love. Hard to maintain and allow a love to grow to a wonderful emotion. A strong ending to a excellent poem.

Words that point to the long term committment in our relationships and the will to develop it as we go along. ' A rolling stone gathers no moss.' Nice write!

What a poem! Seriously! Lately and I'm not sure if its the time of year or what but I have seen so many relationships on the rocks or even ones that are ending completely (I've had three myself!) and I have literally lost hope that I would find happiness with another individual. I think some people have lost the meaning of the word 'love' and understanding what it means to be truly in love with someone rather than the fleeting emotions that go hand in hand with other emotions that are so closely related to love that they are often mistaken for it. I feel that if you truly love someone its never forgotten, nor does it ever leave you.

You have captured this truth in such a way that it gives a sense of hope to those such as I who have lost all hope, that after getting broken we don't realize that

Fact is we all have love in our heart,
And it's never meant to be set apart.
Be a part of spreading love, as most of us do,
There will always be a ray of light for each of you.

well penned!
