Indifferent Personality

Indifferent Personality

A Poem by Sagar Waingankar

He is a confused man,
With no will and plan,
Roams round the city,
In his dirty white van.

Rarely walks down the lane,
To spend free time along green.
He enjoys doing same,
Being aware there's nothing to lose or gain.

If everyone says right,
He will say left.
He enjoys this fun,
Being opposite to them.

Quite stubborn with his nature,
Each one thinks he's a crazy creature.
He never bothered for them,
Thinking all others are lame.

Leading his life,
In a big modern city.
He follows no lifestyle,
Except simplicity.

Smoke quite a lot,
Searching deep inside, What he got?
Have beer more often,
As the weather is too hot.

Looking at him,
Each one says,
"He is so rude!"
Personally saying,
We have a kind man,
Being alive in our neighbourhood.

Rocking the boat to produce a little tune, that'll keep us humming along with our daily rules about things. A man breaks free to bring an impulse to light up everyone's enthos about things. A dried palm frond eventually breaks away from the tree and falls. It helps to bring fire to someone's cooking that day. The record is still the same. We all still live for each other.

You gave a good descriptive effort and empowered the listener to think of like personalities they have known.

An interesting personality. Being indifferent is not always good but it sometimes make you an attractive person and person like him inspires poem like this. I enjoyed it. :)

Many kind of people in this world. I believe need to leave people to their own needs and desire as long as they are safe and not dangerous. I like how you set-up the poem. I like the ending to the excellent poem.

Good one.. this poem makes me remember Johanna Spyri 's Heidi where there is a similar character in the form of Heidi's grandfather even though he doesn't smoke or have beer or moves about in a white van.. :)

Indifference is dangerous for it is the true opposite of love and love goes right along with man's right to breathe, good write

Make up your mind :-) Rhyme or don't.....not one of your better efforts, in my opinion
