Courageous Act

Courageous Act

A Poem by Sagar Waingankar

Why do we need to work hard,
For things which are true and right?
They are strong and disciplined enough,
With purity and elegance dwelling by their side.

Wrong ones never have much importance,
As they last for a short time with cruel minds.
Cowards search for ladders to reach their goals,
Even those goals turn to be foolish over a period of time.

Courage requires a part of truth deep inside,
Which hunt many others several times,
Occasion drives a free flowing feeling to be pure,
Accompanied with love and respect even for poor.

A help or sympathy is not always an answer,
To every question that comes out of pain,
Quality driven with motivation and self-confidence,
Conquers the sub-sided with self-determination.

Each one of us is liable to decide,
But every decision is never meant to be precise.
Ability to make decisions can be gained at any age,
Still it requires a little bit of courage.

So fictional it seems to be, as everything seems to be in motion,
All we need to do is capitalize with even equations.

Self realization and the perceptions of it come in many forms. But mostly, it is non-judgemental as in ' Judge not that ye be not judged.' It seeks to understand itself and to identify itself with the world. The way it starts however is always like John Wayne galloping on his stallion with both guns blazing. Nice to see not much has changed. Great write!

Every thought and decision had a reaction. Hate will bring more hate. Love will bring love. Kindness will bring more kindness. I like the feel and the desire of the powerful poetry. Thank you for the outstanding poetry.
